IMPORTANT! 6.0L FICM Reprogramming

We have been informed that Ford is preparing to release an update to the inductive heating FICM strategy to help resolve issues where FICMs have become damaged due to excessive current draw. The updates are scheduled for release in 2-3 weeks, and we will need another 1-2 weeks to rewrite our FICM hybrid strategy; we should be able to reprogram FICMs again in about mid-May.

PLEASE CALL US BEFORE SHIPPING YOUR FICM TO ENSURE THAT ALL UPDATES ARE READY! :thankyou:

Any updates for the new tuning?

Got the latest reflash from Ford and am happier with it. Seems the truck starts faster, idles smoother and maybe even a bit better throttle response. Hard to tell by just the seat of pants but definately mine is smoother than B4. Wish they had done i a couple months earlier though cause it cost me a new FICM just prior to release of the new flash!!

Any word yet on the PHP FICM tuning with the newest flash from Ford?

Still tearing down the new FICM code. Hope to have everything isolated and updated in the next 2-3 weeks. Based on feedback from both people who've had the updates as well as from local dealerships, the new flashes seem to work pretty well. We just need to make them a little better. :)

Sounds great!! Hope cracking the code isn't too difficult. Are there any future plans to offer different levels of FICM tuning?

Power Hungry Wed, May 13th, 2009 09:48 AM

Yes... just need to get out from under the pile of custom files first.

I know it's customer service that wins all in the end. I'm just waiting till you say the new FICM code has been hacked and I'll be sending in my FICM again. Good luck and God bless.
