TS Performance Event....

My most sincere condolences go out to TS Performance for the actions of many people that ruined their event and possibly caused the cancellation of any future get-together functions in Bowling Green, KY. I also wish to extend a big "sorry" to all of the diesel innovators who were there with new products and those testing them that didn't have a chance to run on the track. There is a huge monetary and time loss for everyone who attended.

It's the actions of these [people] who just gave the diesel performance world a HUGE black eye and have soured a lot of Bowling Green residents on hosting anymore diesel-related events.

The EPA, CARB, and the tree-hugging eco-nazi terrorists are laughing all the way to the legislative branch of our government at these idiots who make us all look bad.

We're ruining it for ourselves, people. Blowing black smoke, doing burnouts, and racing on public roadways is a sure fire way to get new emissions laws and new legislation passed that keeps diesel performance oriented products out of the public's hands.

Please be cognizant of what you are doing out there. People ARE watching......a lot of them are now watching in disgust.

After reading your post I went over to PSN and read up on what was going on, As one of my favorite sayings goes "You can't fix Stupid!" :cursin: Wondering why this year was different from the past events? They probably should have worked with the Police Dept ahead of time. Look at events like Sturgis or Datona Bike week for example. huge number of people and lots of alcohol and the cops keep on top of it for the most part..... But I guess it only takes a few idiots to mess it up for all.. Hopefully Truck-Fest will have better luck...

That makes me just so sad. Sheila and Dennis Perry are super nice people, and to think that they laid out all the money for this event just to have some idiots ruin it sickens me. My prayers go out to them. This was a really hard hit.

I was reading some other forums and it is quiet obvious the cause of a lot of the problems...:bar: :drinks::drunk::drinking::j and b::drinking wine::drinking81::guiness:

If they banned alcohol from the event, Many of the problems would probably not have occured... If you need alcohol to have fun at a family event then you need :help1:

:2thumbs: I totally agree. I don't have a problem with anyone having a drink or two, but this was a family event (our boys were coming with us!), and a lot of the threads on other forums consisted of people talking about going to TS and drinking -- a LOT. I don't get some people. :notallthere:

Just for reference...

I was informed that the local Law Enforcement was already prepared to handle a certain amount of "stupidity" due to many of last years antics. As we can see, history has repeated itself in grand fashion and people have abused the hospitality of Bowling Green for what appears to be the last time. I am embarrassed for Dennis and Sheila and hope people realize that the events that transpired, including the cancellation of much of the event was not their fault. I only hope that Bowling Green will be forgiving to them. :(
