New to my wife and I

Well my wife and I just purchased a 2004 Expedition Eddie B edition!! We love it!! It has everything but the in dash nav which we really didnt like. We had the dealer put in an 11 inch TV in the back for the boys. Really slick! My question is: is there a way to find out what the door code is? Like on my super duty I was able to look up under my dash and see the code but Im wondering if there is a similar way on the expeditions. Can I pull it with the auto enginuity? Im sure I can go to the dealer but I just dont feel like it.

I unfortunately promised the wife I will keep my hands off this one. No mods!! My truck is no longer the family mobile!! I am cleared hot to do whatever I want to my truck!! Isnt she the greatest!!

Did you try looking in the vehicle user manual?

On an expedition 2002 through 2006 the master code is located on the drivers side under dash look on the extreme left with head by brake pedal a cream colored anti-theft module has the code printed on it 5 digit code. To change the code to your own personal code you have to put in the master code then hit #1 and put in your own 5 digit code thats it very simply.

Ford stopped doing this on the '06 Expeditions, starting in '07, the code is nowhere on the vehicle.

Thanks for the info!
So 2007 on up your going to have to have the dealer find it for you.
That bites.
I was just going by our "AllData" info from my part time job.
I'll edit it later tonight. :)
Done editting

Yeah, it was quite a circus with the service guy looking for the code under the dash. I kept telling him it's not there, man....it's not there. He insisted on crawling around for about 30 minutes before giving up and getting the laptop out. He got the code in about 30 seconds. His service buddies gave him some good ribbing....

There should be a law that prohibits the sale or trade of any vehicle that does not not have the security system info with it. At the shop we run into this garbage a lot. More so with aftermarket addon ones.
The sad thing is that every time we hook up to a vehicle we have to charge for it. :(
