Tweaking Custom Tunes

I am interested getting into tuning my 7.3. I am no stranger to this engine but have no experience in programming them. I am looking to make minor (or what I believe is) changes to my custom tunes from a well known company. Will the minotaur software be able to do this? Eventually I would like to do my own tuning but want to start small to learn my way around.

Anyone?

Oh boy. Minotaur will scare the daylights out of you.

Just kidding. Yes, you can get as major or as minor as you would like with the changes that are available with Minotaur.

Cody, don't you need a way to pull the custom tunes off the current chip to get the binary file??? minotaur wont do that

If Dave purchases the Minotaur package, he gets the basic binaries with it, a burner, and PhoenixFlash.

Thats what I was hoping for......I love learning new things and taking on new challenges!!

As far as the truck goes I have twin turbos, hybrid injectors, dual HPOP's and dont want to make major changes to my tuning, just do some tweaking on the shift points and low end fueling.

Cody, how involved is it to access my custom tunes?

Depends who tuned it....

If it was someone who is willing to send you binary they used in your current tuning, then you are all set.

If not?

Sometimes there are other ways of getting it......;)

Call up your tuner and see if they will allow you to get the binary....provided you let them know that it will be for your exclusive use and have no intent to distribute their intellectual property.

That what I figured but was not sure if there was an easier way.
