PHP display is dim

Hello, I have a 7.3 and the Hydra PHP tuner, lately the display has been very dim, to the point where it’s difficult to see the numbers and the tune I’m in. Is there anything I need to look for?

Called support and found out that the right button if held for 2 seconds will change the brightness and that fixed it.

brightness control

Thanks for posting that info on the brightness control, I came looking with the same question.

And to add to the original post if you hold the left button for 2 seconds it takes you down in brightness.

Just to let everyone know...

There are 5 levels of brightness. If you hold either button for 2 seconds, the LED will change in response to the button you're pressing. The default when first connecting the Hydra should be level 5 which is the brightest position.

Also, when using the buttons to change levels, make sure you just give it a quick tap up or down. We occasionally have folks reach out with concerns that their levels aren't changing. This happens if you hold down the button too long.

It breaks down like this:

A button press of 0 to 500 milliseconds (up to 1/2 Second) = Level change
A button press of 500 to 2000 milliseconds (between 1/2 Second and 2 Seconds) = No action
A button press of 2000+ milliseconds (2 Seconds or longer) = LED Brightness change

I hope this is helpful.
