FICM

What if any change can be seen from an 03 6.0 that has managed to never been reflashed at the factory?? Yes, it still has the factory original FICM programming.

Very little, aside from improved cold starting. Since the calibration we use is a early/late hybrid, the benefit from the IH strategy is helpful for those cold mornings.

I'm interested in what, if any downfall there would be to running a php tuned ficm with innovative tuning?

That's like the Holy Grail of the 6.0L trucks then. It's great to hear that at least one person didn't fall for the "fixes".

Since Innovative Diesel also offers FICM retuning, it's probably best to go with them. Generally, everything works out fine; however, we have had a couple of customers whose PCM programming (not done by us) conflicts with our FICM retuning.

Nah... it's more fun to keep people in the dark! :disbelief:

Seriously though, as soon as we get everything ironed out we'll let everyone know what's what. :2thumbs:
