03 5.4L 2v question on power and more

Hello, very interested in your programmer. I have a 03 f150 5.4L 2v supercrew with 35s and 6 inch lift. Now my question is that on your website it claims 25hp and 40tq for the 97-03s. So I checked 04s+ and its the same page !? Makes the same claims. Also the programmer dealie has the tranny temp right? How does it get its temp from the pmc?

Thanks!!!

I think Bill should probably answer this, but as far as I know, the Gryphon for 97-03 pretty much matches the 04+ version in regards to HP and torque gains.

I DO know there are some differences in what can be monitored though, but I think they relate to pre-99 trucks. If the PCM has a tranny temperature input on your 03, then the Gryphon should be able to see it. It's certainly there for the 04+ models and is one thing I'm happy to have, since I tow.

Actually, the F150 description page is slightly inaccurate as the power gains for the 04+ should read 35HP and 45 ft./Lbs. The gains for the 2003 and earlier are correct.

The 97-03 version does NOT display TFT. The PCM provides only an output voltage for the TFT sensor, not an actual degree value. This feature will be added in a future release and can be downloaded through Pegasus.

We have fixed the website to reflect the current options and power outputs. I apologize for any confusion. :D

Take care.

Okay right on! You guys have a time frame for having the TFT for the 97-03 F150s? I bought the Egde Evo cuz someone told me it have tranny temp...so when someone told me about you guys I was like :yesnod:. Sounds like the power is better with your system there over the edge.

I don't have an exact time frame on the trans temp as I have had to put the 2009 F150 on priority. Hopefully we can get it in the next 6-8 weeks. Check back from time to time as we will make announcements to any updates we add. :D

I am also very interested in a tft reading for my 2003. I posted in the newb intro section on my transmission failure. I would like to be able to moniter trans temp on the new unit to hopefully keep tabs on it. I am sending the evo in for a Gryphon next week. Thanks
