pcm code

Ok got a question. when i order my minotaur i order it for my pcm code. but what about our other trucks that have other pcm codes? can i buy the licance for that code or is there a way i can buy a package that offers other codes?

You will have to buy different definition's for different PCM "family's"......IIRC they are around $250.

outch our other trucks might have to stay stock lol

Here's the thing Dustin, just because the PCM code is not the same does not mean that the calibration wont work on it.

Check PHP site for the calibration list, if the processors match the definitions you are using...... your all set.

Besides, Bill isn't going to send any NVK5 files with your Minotaur......Ain't gonna happen.

You'll be running PMT1 on your truck should you get Minotaur.

i know that for most of the SD,s a pmt1 will work. but my grandpa has a obs and he said he would want one. so i have to buy the other licance right?

Yip, OBS is a different animal.

So would you say that the TDE family of strategies is the most common for OBS trucks and will work for a good selection of the OBS automatics?

Why is that Cody?

Strongly looking at getting this set up.

Sorry for the delay, Joe. I didn't catch this thread earlier.

Basically since everyone and their mother uses PMT1, that's what will come with a Minotaur package for a 99.5-01 Auto truck (unless it's CA of course). While Bill does have definitions for just about every base code out there, the VRAA6 definition is the one he's spent the most time on to get "just right" in the refinements area (scaling, listing descriptions, breakdowns, etc.).
