wont start!!

ok I really enjoyed my new truck until a couple days after i got it, it started shifting hard. Then just a week or so ago the sync system quit working and to top it off the :censored1: thing wont start now. It has been giving me a little bit of trouble past couple of days starting it in the morning. I havent had time to take it in with me being in school and taking care of dad. everything still works like the radio when i turn the key. but it just wont fire up. can anyone help. GOD I WANT MY OLD TRUCK BACK!!!

You may want to go get a code scanner and start with that.
Or pull the cables on the battery and turn your headlights on to reset the pcm.
Since its your primary transportation you might want to find the time to get it in.

well i called roadside assistance. they cant get to my truck to tow it because they are really busy with this snow storm. they are going to try and jump start it and go from there.

Did AZ load test the battery?
Was it turn key and nothing?
Or turn key and it cranked with no fire?
Battery voltage might have gotten to low?

Yeah AZ tested it.
when i would turn the key on it would make some clicking sounds really fast and the needles on my gages would shake. i dont know what it was my dad thinks its something electrical. the guy at autozone said i must of left something on but i turn everything off before i turn the truck off.

As you know, I'm sure, those are symptoms of a low battery. Possibly, it got charged during the drive to AZ?

I was actually thinking the same thing, about it getting charged on the way there.

A nice little fact. The milage on my truck while it was dead 6665.5 notice the first three numbers.

What size battery do you have?
I hope it's not Ford's dinky 550.
The 650 better!

Yeah, that was definitely a low battery. My battery could run a high power stereo system for 5 hours but couldn't handle the key being in for 6. :matt-roloff:
I dont think the battery has quite recovered yet so now when I go to events I swap it out with a 560(?) CCA deep cycle RV/Boat battery and that thing works REALLY well. Not sure if it would be good to use a deep cycle for my truck battery long term though.
