I don't want to sound selfish
I would consider myself pretty lucky. Through my faith and my family I have been able to over come life's trials and tribulations. I am still here after an IED blast in Iraq, getting dianosed with a kidney disease. But today I got the call that I have to go back in tomorrow for conformation of Diabetes.:sigh:

Hey Chuck
Its not the end of the world. The only thing with diabeties is your going to have to watch what you do and eat. Monitoring your blood sugar isn't that difficult and sometimes lifestyle changes need to be done. Thoughts and prayers from SD. Lars |
Hey there Chuck,
We're keeping you in our prayers! Let us know how your tests go! And BTW, it is NOT selfish to ask for prayers -- EVER. They work! |
One more blow, eh? You MUST be tough, since life seems to be dealing you so many.
I agree with Lars though, we have several friends with diabetes, and they seem pretty "frisky"! It's a pain though to have to be so concerned about what you eat. My thoughts are with you, Brother. - Jack |
Any word, Chuck?
|
I should know something tomorrow.
|
They said it was still high after fasting so they are making me an appt. to see my pcm. I should know something in the next week, hopefully.

Just keep us posted.
