Vegistroke

I rate it a 10 out of 10. It's an automated system that let's you run veg oil in your diesel rig. The company is called "Dino Fuel Alternatives" and the automated kit they sell is called the "Vegistroke" V3. Sourcing and filtering waste veg oil from restaurants/hotels/etc. is a daunting task in the beginning. But, once you have it down, it's not too bad. I figure with the amount of miles I drive (18,000/yr) at 16mpg (roughly) and at $2.50/gallon (roughly), I break even on my investment after about a year and 1/2. After that, fuel is "free" - just my time involved, which is minimal since I have the process down now.

I'm currently halfway through a 4000 mile trip (NY to CO and back) and I've used less than 1/4 tank of diesel in my Excursion. :cheesy smile:
