DO I NEED TUNNING OR LET IT BE

Hello new to this forum but have a couple question that i kind of know the answer from reading other posts but not sure. I have a 2002 f-150 crew with a 5.4 2v that loves its fuel. I put a k&n instake on and a magnaflow cat back highflow exhaust on it. I did get better fuel economy and more go. I ended up buying a edge evo cs tuner for the truck now reading my questions are do i need custom tunning for the truck because of the adons and the fact im getting worse fuel economy with the tuner. I also dont want to damage anything because i tow a bass boat and car trailer with the truck. And info would be appreciated.:)

I had an 01 with almost the exact same setup. you should definitely get some custom tuning, it will not only help any possible lean conditions caused by the CAI, it will take advantage of the CAI and the Exhaust to get you better possible gas mileage... I say possible mileage because I noticed that mine went down as well, but I am pretty heavy footed so whatever gains I got I used, which used more gas... after a few months of me being used to the tunes and me relaxing my throttle use I got better gas mileage. I notice it most when I am doing a lot of highway driving. The other benefit of the custom tunes is the tow tune will help pull your boat and car trailer better. plus Bill tunes them to you and your style of driving, plus where you live.
Hope that answered your questions :), feel free to ask more though :D

So as I thought I will get some tuuning so all I have to do is fill in a order form on the website and in a few weeks there ready for download

Sounds like a plan to me! just be sure to put everything you can in the order form, it will help get the best tune for you. :D. and it will probably be more than a few weeks just so you know, i am guessing that with Corey's health problems it will be 6-8 weeks before they are ready. :/ there are a few threads explaining what is going on, and what has been going on lately. Glad I could help! :D
