20 questions

I am reasonably certain that I want to send my FICM in to be tweaked and that I want to purchase some Rev-X. My questions are:

How do I find my FICM version? It is a remanufactured unit that was flashed to the "most recent Ford" calibration, according to the (eBay) seller. It runs fine and is a solid 48v unit - verified by Auto Enginuity.

Is there any benefit to an ECM rollback with the following calibration: VXDB1MZ TQBF0M2 ?

Custom tunes offered for SCT SF3? How do I order them? I cannot seem to get the link to work. I was considering the 40 hp Heavy Tow, 65hp Daily and (maybe) the 80hp Performance.

My Excursion is used primarily as a daily driver (60%) but I also use it to tow (40%). My main concern is vehicle longevity and fuel economy. Performance gains are always nice :thumbs up yellow:, but not my main focus (yet!). I cannot fathom why my buddy's f250 gets 16mpg (stock) while I barely knock down 14mpg (SCT "Street" (which is better than the 12.5mpg I got stock)).

Maybe not 20 questions, but it was a few!! Any input is appreciated.

You should see a gain in changing the ficm program.

As for your PCM, I dont know what bill is rolling ex's back to. I had the same program as you in mine, but i changed to a truck PCM and had it rolled back to VXBC6. Which is the file Bill has in his race truck. IIRC.

Ex's tend to get worse mpg than a truck does, simply because of the weight of the vehicle vs the truck. They are actually quite heavy.

You will have to call in to order the tunes for your sct, most tunes here are used on an edge converted to a gryphon. Although the tunes would be the same.

Thank you Jeremy!

Did you lose the PATS function when you went with the truck PCM?

I would love to do the Gryphon, however, the SCT works, and I cannot justify the added expense at this time.

Yes PATS is over-ridden, I can start it with with a non chipped key now.

I understand, there is nothing wrong with the SCT's I have a X3 myself.
