Converter unlocking
 

So I changed something on my 01 and I don't know what! The converter will unlock when I take my foot off the pedal in every gear but 4th. I've gone back to older tunes and I can't figure out what I changed. I've changed the Throttle position for Unlock, TP for unlock w/Brake but no change. I've changed just about everything to do with a converter and I still can't figure it out. Im sure it's something small but I must be over looking it!!!

Are you sure its the converter unlocking and not the coast clutches?

Ive been so busy thinking it was the converter that I never even thought about the coast clutch. If that is the case then I have a mechanical failure in the trans because I have it programed on. Thanks Dave!

I have finally had some time to take my time and look at whats going on. Yes, it is the coast clutch and not the converter.

The coast clutch is working - tested by manually down shifting at 40mph, it is holding!

Watching on AE the coast clutch solenoid is locking only when it shifts to 4th as soon as it down shifts to 3rd it is unlocking.

The only thing I see in Minotaur to adjust anything with the coast clutch is

1 coast clutch maximum time / 1200sec
2 coast clutch minimum throttle / 0, 325 and 1023
3 coast clutch enable in 4th gear / 1


Im not sure what else to try, any help?
