Custom tune for cam phaser lockout?

I'm planning on putting the lockouts on my cam phasers soon. Has anyone else done this and had to have a custom tune? I know livernois perf states that it needs to be done but I didn't know if it's absolute !

There may have been a few but it is generally not recommended. Why are you planning on doing it?

Didn't even know someone had posted, never got a notification.

I'm doing the cam phaser lockout because mine are noisy as hell. And the phaser limiter says it won't fix the sound but the locker will.

And now my biggest concern is POWER HUNGRY will not return my email or when I call I get the we are busy or no one answers. I guess I'll throw it in the trash and buy another brand from someone that will HELP ME!!!!

Did you check your spam folder?

In the past they have tuned for locked cams although it is generally not recommended because other underlying problems have been known to cause the issue you are having. This was discussed recently here on the forum.

...or, like you said, you could throw it in the trash. A little bit of cooperation goes a long way.

Yeah I check the spam and it was empty. At least from here. That's why I wanted to talk to some from PHP to see what they have done before if anything. I guess I'll try calling again tomorrow.
