Thanks
I have a 95 xl 1/2 ton maybe I could swap them out and paint the xl grill and bezel and put the chrome on th 150?

Yes you can do that. What color is yours? I did mine with the Krylon plastic paint, it matches up pretty good. Cant tell a difference 20 ft away.

My diesel is white. My 1/2 ton is dark green with a hint of oxidation.

Semper Fi!!!

How did you apply the white to the front grill? did you spray over the chrome or get a black xl grill to paint?

I was thinking of whiting my grill out.

Yut! Semper Fi!

I used a adhesion promoter, and then white krylon plastic paint over the chrome XLT grill (my chrome was halfway gone anyways).

It was good for a coupld months but then it's starting to flake off the chrome parts now. I'd get a XL grill and do it if you want to go that route.

I actually am wanting to go back to the chrome grill, either stock XLT chrome, ALL chrome stock grill (looks sweet), or a billet grill

See, I like that look on some trucks, but I'm not patient enough to tape off all the chrome... haha

I like the chrome and white as well. I too am not patient enough to mask it off.

Your Marines and not patient:disbelief: Actually it wasnt that bad I had the whole thing done in a couple hours. Its easier to overlap the tape and then use a hobby knife and trim it out, that part took me a whole 30 minutes.
