HELP!!

Hi I have recently purchased a gryphon cs. I installed and i love the performance except that it shifts extremely hard. Like someone is kicking my back seat as someone else has said. I have dialed down the shift firmness to -4 for all three shifts but it is still too hard! Tow tune and 91 performance tune. I like the power but the shifting sucks. Even my gf asked what was wrong when i was driving. WOT it really kicks and normal driving a lot lower kick. I would like firm but not like riding a bucking bronco.
Also how do i get my hex and all of the things i need to start the process to getting custom tunes?
Please help! I have a 2008 f150 5.4 flex
Also i have a volant cai and about to install banks catback sido. With the cai the check engine light has not come on.

Also I can not change the shift rpms like i have read about older cs programmers being able to do

SEND US YOUR HEX CODE
If you purchased a Gryphon, Gryphon CS, or Gryphon CTS with custom calibrations, we will need your PCM's HEX code.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL US WITH YOUR HEX CODE OR E-MAIL YOUR HEX CODE TO US!

If you have a Gryphon, you can get the HEX code by going to MENU> DIAGNOSTICS> TECH SUPPORT> VEHICLE INFO

If you have a Gryphon CS or CTS, you can get the HEX code by going to HELP>VEHICLE INFO

To prevent HEX codes getting lost in cyber space, we have provided a spot on the PHP forum where customers can post their HEX codes -- only moderators and administrators can see these posts. When your custom tunes are ready to be downloaded, we will post in the same thread to let you know that your files are available.

You will need to register to join the forum: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/index.php Please be aware that there are sections of the forum that are unavailable to unregistered guests; upon registering, you will be able to view these areas.

I think I put the HEX code in there. Can someone confirm if this is correct. I have ordered the 87 performance tune. Is there a way that i can have this changed to 93 instead. My canned tunes are really sucking right now. Performance is good but anytime i give it hard throttle it will shift really hard. If i dont give it too much throttle then it shifts ok... Please can someone tell me what i need to do to make my transmission better so that it does not break.

Zippman, I can't find your hex code/calibration ECM post in this forum: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/give-...-ecm-tcm-code/, which is where Corey wants it. However, you HAVE entered it in your User Profile, so that part's good.

You can try dialing the shift firmness down more than -4 if you feel the transmission is shifting too "hard". Try -10 for the three shift points and adjust from there.

If the shifts are that bad put it back to stock....

Ok see if hex is posted now? I think I may be returning to stock. I really don't want this to be an expensive paper weight/ refund. Any ideas how to fix? Is there an update I'm missing?? Thanks in advance guys

Many of the flex fuel trucks have been problematic. You'll probably have to wait until you have custom tunes if the programmer doesn't soften them up enough.

Please notice the missing entries that 88Racing pointed out. You can edit your first post to add them.
