I also have a magnaflow 4" exhaust I've been mulling over the idea doing away with the muffler. Does this help performance much also how much does the db increase?:howdy:

It would be useful for future reference if you fill out your signature so nobody has to tell or ask what you have.

You will not see any noticeable gains worth it if you are worried about being too loud. Not sure on the db gains, but you can listen to several straight piped 7.3s on the road or YouTube.

It sounds beautiful... simple as that. Slight drone with windows up, Never bugged me.

I tried wording it without sounding harsh, just trying to give you some advice that can help you get answers with as little posting back abd forth as possible. Ive seen guys on other forums almost yelling and being rude to new guys for not making their signature. I never appreciated being talked to like that, so I would not try to talk to anyone one here like that.
