NEED HELP. CUSTOM TUNES AND NEW COMPUTER
Okay here is my situation. I had custom tunes done about a year and half ago or so. Truck has been awesome. I had truck inspected, disconnected the tuner, went to plug in and do a "custom program." I got an error code saying it didn't support that option (tire size). So I figured Id update my tuner. This is the problem. I bought a new Apple computer and have the users guide etc, it seems its a windows program only? Ive browsed the forum and tried to find any info. Any help on how to install drivers for an Apple computer, if possible. so I can get the tuner back in my truck, thanks in advance! -Darren
Also need basic help as far as what to load on the computer to run/accept pegasus , its been awhile. Thanks again |
Have you tried again since then? It could have been a glitch from not booting properly.
You can't use Pegasus on anything but a Windows computer. You can run parallels but they are expensive and troublesome, for that kind of info ask 88Racing because I don't have a clue. I'd either use a friend's computer or try a public library. |
Longshot, thanks for the response. I did re-try this morning. It loaded and I got my tune in the truck, running like it did. I didn't however try to enter the tire size (I'm pretty sure when I had the tune done that was programmed) so things seem to be great. And I thought the same thing, as far as using a friends comp. Thanks again.
