Efans effect on tuning???

I was just reading the custom order form and read where bill wants to know about efans.

I have efans sitting here in the box waiting to go in, but havn't had time yet. When i order my tunes i want to do it once and not have to get another set of tunes after efans. Does it really make any differance?

E-fans don't really affect the custom tuning. If you put it on your order form, Bill will raise the idle a little bit, but it's something you can do with the custom options feature, too. :)

And, for anyone who doesn't understand the higher idle? (There's got to be a couple of you out there). You want a higher alternator output to drive the E-fan when you're stuck in traffic at 104 degrees in the summer.

:hi-wave:

Bill didn't explain WHY to me, but now I know. :brain:

Yeah... I always bumped my edge up on my last f150 to do the same thing. Never thought it would be tuned in.
