Supposedly up to 10% or so doesn't cause harm to anything. Based on that assumption lots of states in the upper midwest have adopted the E10 fuel as the standard. (mostly as a subsidy to the farmers and ethanol plants in the area)
I do like that premium fuel in WI is still 100% gas. My car gets 2-3 MPG better on that stuff than the crap I get in MN here.
