Well I talked to an Edge Rep, he actually called me back from an email i sent. He got with the engineers to see how much work it would take to recode the old evolution to accept TFT.
The engineer came back with alot of work and said that it wasnt worth it. But that they would make me a deal on my old edge so i could upgrade to th new CS or CTS model that does have the TFT.
Dang guys, this stinks.

Due to the fact of the cable issue I wouldn't think twice about their offer.
I'd go ahead and do get the upgrade.......
