I'm only asking because you're the FIRST person who's made this claim that I've heard from. I'm quite willing to be persuaded that those things work, but I need a bit of evidence.

As for leaving it on, it probably doesn't hurt anything. The only "con" I've read about is increased intake noise.

Well thats what the company said I would gain from it.

And with the K&N Air Changer Kit on it you cant hear anymore noise cause that thing is loud enough by itself.
