My first and probably the stupidest question....sorry, I think all the questions I am going to ask is stupid. But here it goes, my first question is that after inputing the tire size in the Gryphon, does the instrument panel on the truck also be corrected?

Second question, is on the order form. I know that the sale is at the end of the month and on the form, do I indicate that I want one custom tune and the free tune will be added after. Or, do I indicate that I want two custom tunes?

Third question, is also for the order form in particular, the area where you can indicate what type of tunes you want. If I want a custom tune, do I make changes to the original settings or do I just indicate that I intend to request the calibration later?

Okay, my last question. Is there a economical tune?

Those are my questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated Mahalo
First question - YES! The Gryphon reprograms the PCM so that it shows the same* figure on the dash as on the Gryphon's speed readout. (Here's what the * means: When you get the PCM programmed exactly to show your true miles driven on the odometer and your true speed on the Gryphon's speed readout, your dash speedo will read 2 mph higher! Why? Because Ford made it that way. We like to say that Ford is telling you you're going faster than you really are so you won't get a ticket).

The second question is more complicated, but there's a simple solution - just tell Corey in an email with your order that you are wanting one paid custom tune and, another free tune to be asked for later. Trust me - Corey and Bill WILL honor any reasonable request you make.

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding your third question though and I'll try to answer it with the way I requested my first tune. I said something like this in an email: Please replace my canned Level 2 tow tune with a custom tow tune that works for my particular needs, which are: - and here I told them what I was looking for in a new Level 2 tune.

And yes, you can certainly tell them you want to maximize economy in ANY tune!

Did I get it right?

- Jack
