I had read that as well, but what I understand to mean by "turning it off" is that in 4L it will be disabled, but in 4H & 2H it is disabled up to a certain speed (30mph?). What if I want to brake and rooster-tail mud 15ft

That may not be entirely correct, just my understanding, but in all honesty it's a feature I'd like to do without and hope it can be disabled altogether.
