Painting the Gryphon pod
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has changed the color of the pod for the Gryphon? My interior is a grey color and the pod is black. Is there any way to just paint it? I'm assuming there's more to it than just taking a spray can to the thing.
Anyone done this? |

I'd be VERY careful! I think you should probably open the case and remove all the contents to do it. But, this MAY void your warranty. I know I would not attempt to "mask off" the buttons and screen to try to paint it with the contents installed though.
Possibly Bill or Corey will give you some advice. - Jack

I suppose you have an earlier model Gryphon? The pod can be painted easily with any spray paint suitable for plastics. All you need to do IS "take a spray can to the thing"! Matching the color though means you're going to have to follow the advice Lars gave you. - Jack |

Sorry the confusion guys, I re-read my post and it does sound a bit confusing.
Had I known I could order a grey Pod I would've done that...no biggie though. I will go to the auto parts store and find me some grey and go to town on the pod! Thanks for the info! |

Edgar, I think you have an older vehicle (pre 2004?). If so, the pods were always black and I don't think you CAN get a gray one.
