1994 Crown Victoria
I'm not sure if anyone knows about this yet but here was the second major project vehicle. I finished it in 2018 and have over 15K miles on it since paint.
Started out as a 244K mile 1994 Crown Victoria LX with a worn-out EEC-IV 4.6L and EDIS ignition system. Not long after I started driving it, I decided a newer EEC-V with the ignition controls built in (and WAY more tuning ability) would be a good move so I did that and drove it for another few thousand miles. Well, I decided that I HATED the non-PI 4.6L in that 4300 lb. car so I tore it out. What would a guy like me do? Oh yeah, rebuild a 7.3L and put it in the hole. |

Cody, I gotta hand it to you. You really do come up with some fun stuff.
Wait until you see the 448 CI Ford FE block I'm putting in the F600.

More pictures just for the heck of it!
Oil pan depth fix. Reluctor for vehicle speed sensor. Crown Vic had one mounted in the transmission; pickup transmission had no provision so math was my friend for mounting a pickup to the rear differential. I rebuilt the rear end while I had it apart. Stock 3.08:1 gears. This is a 39 tooth drive sprocket for a Polaris snowmobile that I cut the center out of and then drilled/tapped to bolt to the yoke flange on the rear end. Mid-2000s GM truck front wheel speed sensor is the pickup. Starter clearance in RH crossmember. Oil filter clearance in LH crossmember. Steering shaft modifications to clear engine. Turbine discharge pipe (downpipe). Oh, and the OEM replacement (gasoline) fuel pump works a treat! |

It's fascinating just how well that all fits in there. With the appropriate modifications, of course. Thank goodness you don't have to change spark plugs in that beast. LOL
