Nope. You can get your serial number and HEX code from your programmer as soon as you plug it in to your truck.

thanks! i was able to install pegasus onto my roommates laptop because he has parallels on his mac. i sent in my hex code and serial number on the forum and registered it on pegasus and also updated my info on my account with them both
