I highly recommend going with a full synthetic engine oil like Rotella 5w40 synthetic... its available for $19.50 a gallon at Wally mart and they also sell the Motorcraft FL1995 filter for $10. If you are in a cold environment the syn oil will make a big difference in cold starting and warm up

Bill just checked, and your tunes are for the late 99-2001.
 On your order form, you have DPC-4XX. Bill really needs the PCM code of the computer because he's sure that's the problem. He also needs to know whether or not to give you CA tunes or Federal tunes. You'll need to hook up a scan tool (with the chip OUT of the PCM) and get the HEX code so we can get this fixed, Eric. Edit: Bill just said that he can try to check OASIS if you can provide the VIN #!

Mostly glow plug control. CA trucks had an actual module that controls and monitors each glow plug whereas 49 state trucks have a simple relay that just turns them all on and off.
