Yea, me too! But it appears Bill actually "tweaks" the canned tunes that Edge has installed in the unit. Possibly adjustments that take advantage of considerations that were not known or understood completely at Edge when the tunes were originally written.

Is that vague enough? (While still sounding meaningful).

It's kind of like our firmware. The Evo doesn't offer datalogging or the metric feature. Ours does. Basically the same product, but just a LITTLE different.
I was under the understanding that the "canned" tunes on the gryphon were the same as the evo.... Are they different?

Psst... the canned tunes on the Gryphon are not EXACTLY the same as the Evo. Bill puts his little sumpin-sumpin twist on them.
I had to go back and read the whole thread to catch this one. Dont i feal stupid

Anyways, that makes me even more excited to get this in the mail some time soon

SOO..... I went back and did a little research and guess what i found.

On the edge site it list their evos for my truck at gains of15 hp and 25 foot pounds of torque.

Your site list it as 25 ponys and 40 foot pounds of torque......

Thats enough for my to be blown away

I THINK, that might be what you can expect with "custom" tunes, not the canned ones (but, I could be wrong).
