Default FINALLY GOT IT WORKING

finally got my SCT programmer working and got my custom tunes. I LOVE IT!!!! im running the 91 performance right now(with 93 octane didnt realize it until i was already pumping) All the aggravation with this programmer was well worth it. Really woke my truck up expecially on take of, actually have some tire spin now. Again i really appreciate all the help with everything by everybody. I will be glad to promote and tell everyone about the grpyhon and custom tuners by PHP after experiencing it first hand.

Hey guys i was driving around and noticed that my engine symbol was on i pulled the programmer back out and read for DTC's and got this

P0605
Internal control module
read only memory
(rom) error

is this a bad thing or is this common. or is bill going to have to rewrite something.

Thanks.

Here is what Bill's list says about it:

P0605,"PCM Read Only Memory (ROM) error.
--Description-- The PCM ROM has been corrupted.
--Possible Causes--
- An attempt was made to change the calibration
- Module programming error
- Physically damaged PCM"

I'm not sure how bad it is but I'll go ahead and make a not on the mod board just in case.

well i didnt change anything on the calibrations. its a fairly new truck so i dont think the PCM is damaged so im guessing its module program error.

Thanks longshot,

well i got ahold of bill and he said that he forgot to turn something off in my tunes. he said that he would have them back to me fixed in 10 mins from when i called him yesterday, but i never got them. Ive been running the truck with the custom tune still but i think im going to put it back to stock. until i get the redone tunes.

I think the only way you would get the revised tune(s) would be to set your CTS back to stock and connect it to Fusion. Did you try that?

Oh yeah forgot to mention that the tunes has almost fixed the hard shifting problem. the only small problem would be it shifts hard into 2nd gear if i take of at a decent pace. I either have to let off the gas right before it shifts or take off at good pace and it wont shift hard. Just thought I brag a little bit more
