Default Hello from Wyoming

New Hydra owner saying hello.

Installed it in a 2001 F350 4x4 crewcab with 329K miles. We recently had the voltage regulator go out of the alternator and it took the original dyno tunes chip with it. The Dyno Tunes chip was a good program, I am hopeful that we can find a hydra tune that will be as nice.

We are the 2nd owners we bought the truck with 283K, the original owners installed the chip shortly after they purchased the truck. They used it to pull an rv between WY and AZ. I have replaced injectors as it needed orings and since I was in there I put remanned ad injectors, glow plugs, low pressure oil pump ( because the front seal was leaking and it was cheaper to put the melling pump in than change the seal only), bellowed up pipes and exhaust manifold bolts with manifold gaskets. And other routine maintenance but nothing major.

We bought it and it has become my wife's daily driver as it gets 18-20 mpg even on winter fuel, or it did until we scrambled the chip. With chip pulled and running stock, it gets 15-16 mpg. We faithfully track mileage on all of our vehicles ( 3 -7.3 trucks, a 6.0 f550, and a 2001 bmw 330xi that gets 22-26mpg over the last 300K miles).
