Upgrade your Evo Upgrade your Edge Evolution to a Gryphon Programmer to allow for custom tuning and additional functionality.

Due to issues with the cable failures due to incompatible versions of firmware, we do not offer upgrades
or tuning for the 1997-2003 F-Series gas or 7.3L diesel trucks. We recommend using another platform.

Default Evo conversion

Will i have to do anything to my evo that got converted to gryphon if it has not been used in a year or can i just plug and go? I got it sent in back in february for the conversion and 2 custom tunes(got it back around the middle of march)and will not return from my deployment to korea until march 2012. also, does the version 3.0 update effect the evo to gryphon conversions?

You should be able to just plug and play. If, when you plug it into the truck, there are no custom tunes on the programmer, downloading them is easy with Pegasus. I dont quite remember when they started doing the upgrade tunes in line with the regular custom tunes.

No the 3.0 version is ONLY for the CS/CTS units and really only needed for the 09+ trucks (For TCM tuning).
