Default PCM DPCs

I know there are a couple "bad" DPCs that you want to avoid. Are any better than others? And what are the differences?

I have a CA truck with DPC492.

There is nothing "bad" about any of them. The hardware differences are necessary for 49 or 50 state trucks, Excursions, Vans, 97 CA-trucks, and what transmission is being used.

Not necessarily, but what we have run into is pretty noticeable variances in what we have to do to shift pressures between 99-01 trucks and 02-03 trucks due to hardware differences in the transmission (valve body spacer plate most notably).

My shifts are just REALLY firm (Most of the time) and the shift around 25mph is usually realllly bad. But sometimes they are perfectly fine..
