Default ficm tuner issues

Hooked my ficm tuner up to a different truck to check ficm voltage, and now it wont recognize mine. Is telling me i have to purchase an unlock. Spoke to php about the problem and was told that it should not have happened and that they are looking into it. So...if you have recently purchased one i would not suggest hooking it up to another vehicle, for now anyway untill Bill figures out the problem.
By the way, i really like the product and for myself was money well spent.

That's weird, I've used mine to let my buddy try out the different FICM tunes, but I also returned my truck back to stock FICM tune before I hooked it up to my buddies truck.

I never did return it to stock before hooking it up to another, which i will do as a precaution in the future but Bill said it still should not have happened. There was some kind of glitch somewhere cause he had me download a bunch of stuff to update the unit i guess. I'm not very computer savy but Bill guided me through everything and now it works. Gotta say Bill and everyone else i have spoken to at php seem like really good people, very helpfull and patient. They have a customer in me for life thats for sure.
