Default What exactly are the custom tunes?

I know I sound like a newb and its because I am one to the whole programmer thing. When it says custom tunes what exactly does that mean? Like I have one setting for saving gas, then one for burn rubber and one for inbetween? Or what? Please help

You CAN have this. Bill could certainly write a tune that emphasizes low end power and a different one that would emphasize economy. I doubt there's be much need for an "in between" one.

But, unless you really have this "burn rubber" need, I doubt you'd get much use out of that kind of tune. I have two tunes, one for towing and one for when I'm not. I wanted tunes that would give me good mileage and good passing performance. I was not interested in burning rubber away from stoplights. My tunes have improved the economy and passing performance is very nice. I get quick downshifts and quick, sure upshifts during passing.
