Default TPS mod

Hope I am going in the right direction with this one.
04- to present f150 all have a cabless TB. In the past with cabled TBs it was possible to trick the pcm by altering the position of the sensor so the vehicle wouldn't shift as much(more of a problem with economy type gears 3.08, 3.27 or 3.55). Due the fact that the TBs now don't have a throttle cable I'd stay away from this mod. Might be more trouble than what its worth.

The purchase and install of a Gryphon, you would have more than enough mods to play with, from that little box.

I would give the Gryphon a chance over some of the mods people propose in other forums.

Messing around with the new style TBs might cost you $$$ if it gets screwed up.

Hey, I removed my CAI in favor of the dwv mod.

Sounds like good advice to me, Lars. Good post.

Thank you Jack!

Let the tuners do the work.
If a warranty issue came about from this mod I bet the dealer would want to void it.
