Default CTS Dash Pod in 2009

Has anybody installed a dash pod in a 2009 or 2010 F150? I ordered one with my CTS and it appears to be too wide to fit between the dash and A pillar on my 2009 Platinum. I think it may be that I received the pod for a 2004 - 2008 truck instead of for my 2009. Pictures would be appreciated.

I don't beleive they make a dash pod for the 2009 + fords yet.

EDIT - I stand corrected. They apparently do make em. They have them listed on their site. No pic/s though.

Corey, Thanks for the response.

Here are a few shots of my dash and the programmer. As you can see my dash area is about 5 1/4" wide and the pod I have is 5 3/4" - 6" wide. I cannot get the pod to slide back flush with the leading edge of the dash and still fit between the A Pillar & the dash.

I suspect there may be a difference in the "A" Pillar covers on the different F150's. My truck is a Platinum edition which has the factory Navigation/Sony Sound system in it and as such has tweeters mounted in the A Pillars.

Dash opening = 5 1/4"

Pod width = ~6"

Here is an additional shot of the programmer mounted in the area using the suction cup mount and angled slightly to ease the viewing of the screen.

Here are a few shots of my CTS in the correct pod fo rthe 09/10 trucks.

Here is a comparison shot of the two pods, the 09/10 pod is on the left.

Does the CS fit in that pod as well? I also have an 09 Platinum and wasn't sure how it would look, but that does look better than the suction cup mount I have.

Edit: So I do see that the CS fits in there, but I wanted to ask...how is the viewing angle on it? It appears to be more straight forward than the angled set up you had with the suction cup.

I'm not going to answer your question exactly, since I don't have your model year truck, but I like the viewing angle that the pod gives my CTS. Bill Cohron, as I recall, said he didn't like it but he's pretty tall (about 6-2, 6-3?) and I suspect it depends on your sitting distance from the wheel and your height. (I'm 5-11.)

I imagine the pod for the 09+ trucks would be similar.

What I can't understand, is why Edge did not redesign the opening of the new pod to exactly fit the CS. It still has the "swelling" on the left side that fits the old Gryphon, and that unit cannot be used in the 09+ trucks.
