Question Anyone else agree?

I noticed that driving at night my gryphon is a little bright. What do you think about needing a brightness adjustment ? Just a random thought.

Just go into the Gryphon menu selection where you can pick the color. Drop whatever colors you're using down about half. Keep them the same ratio to each other, just lower.

Or while your driving in the dark just push the down button and the lights will get dimmer, push up to make them brighter. No need to go into any munues, just do it while moving.

Stuff like that should be in the manual seeing as they just updated it. I read the whole thing more than once but maybe I missed it somehow.

Thanks for the info! I just set the colours lower since during the day I don't really need the backlight all that much.

I have mine on the lowest light setting I think. Maybe one above that. It matches the message center on the dash perfectly.

Directions for adjusting the brightness should be on the bottom of page 21 in the manual.
Quote:
ADJUSTING THE BACKLIGHT BRIGHTNESS
When viewing PIDs (like the sample to the right), use the
[UP] and [DOWN] arrow keys to adjust the brightness of
the display. Each time the button is pressed, the
backlight will either brighten or dim by 10%. The default
setting is 100% brightness.

Cool I missed that somehow. I guess I was too excited about getting it to read the whole book in detail.

Well I dont remember if its in there but I read the entire edge, gryphon and pegasus manuals more than once. Had a week of reading time waiting for my programmer to come in because I put in my order just before they had a big sale and family over.

My experience was simular. It was a week before it was shipped after my order but once it was mailed it was 4 working days.

Even after reading the manual more than once I missed it. In my manual it is on Page 24 at the bottom after the part about setting the colours.
