I have heard that they get up to 26-27, but that is just what I heard, no actual facts to support it

yeah I think so... but they cost quite a bit haha... how many years would it take to save $5000 in gas by getting 25 mpg?

I have a fleet model F-350 at work. The thing never shuts of in a 10 hour work day. The computer on the dash tells me it is about 7.5 mpg. And my brother just bought one. He claims around 17 mpg on #1 winter diesel. We are in MT and ND and drive around 80 mph on the interstate. I suppose some one who drives around 65 might get around 20 mpg. I have never seen better than 18 on my 06 6.0L.
I had to check out this area of the forum, as I am look at a knew one myself.

Well my Preacher from back home got a New 2011 F-250 superduty diesel. He let me test drive it today and that thing will haul . I wanted one before and today didnt help me. Of course Im no where close to being able to afford one.

What kind of things can you do to help the MPG on a diesel besides a tuner.
