Default '99 7.3 stalling/cutting out in the rain

My Friend has a '99 F250, 4x4, auto, extended cab, shortbed. When ever it is wet her truck cutts out on her and stalls, she came to my farm today to ride a few horses I changed out her IDM.

On the way home she had the same issue with my IDM, I pulled her IDM apart and it looks like some moister got in threw the vent(??) could the same thing be going on with a different IDM?

any suggestions?

Default Rain

I don't have that exact problem, but my truck losses its throttle when it rains. The 99 to 03 SD trucks leak in the firewall and causes electrical problems with the computer.I'm not sure if this will help you or not.Check and see if your carpet is damp on the drivers side.My truck is a 2002 7.3 S.D 4x4 Lariat with a Gryphon.

I was told of you get moisture in some of the plugs it will cut out your engine. I forget the name the sensor on the driver side head make sure there's no water in it. I pumped most of my plugs with diode grease so that won't happen. Also check the sensor up front.
