Default evo upgrade ??

hi guys i have a 04 f-150 .5.4 3 valve motor in it ,,i have a k&n intake,, with a green filter, a magnaflow in front of rear wheel side exit dual exhaust and a edge
evo unit,, the little grey one!! heres the problem ,, i constantly here guys talking about a lean issue,, but my ford dealer stated that if it was running lean it would throw a code almost immeditaly but it hasnt ,, but!!! my exhaust started smelling like rotten eggs,so i removed the edge program( back to stock)
and the wretched smell went away,, my? is will a custom tune help with this

Unfortunately the do not upgrade the silver evos anymore. Nothing having to do with the trucks, just the programmers, more specifically the cable.

Were you running the trans only or performance tunes?

i was running performance tune with 93 octane

Try running the tow tune. It is designed to run a bit richer and will help offset the lean condition.
