Default Do CAI really make a big difference on the 06 5.4 engines

I Have a 06 mark lt and was wondering would putting a CAI by roush performance make a difference in hp and fuel economy. at the moment i have the gotts mod with a k&n filter.

The commercial CAIs are actually worse for the truck. They cause a lean condition compared to stock that requires custom tunes to fix. Then there is a performance compromise by adjusting the custom tuning to not make a loud drone noise.

Just stick with the gotts.
