The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Haha, looks like I missed a bunch of stuff in my own thread

I'll need to post some pictures. Last time I took it out I hit the round end of a shotgun shell 3 out of 5 times at 80 yrds. The other two were just below it.

Can anybody afford to shoot anymore?

Reloading stuff is getting hard to come by and it seems the only manufactured ammunition left on the shelves is the premium, twelve-times-the-price stuff.

We could but until there's at least some primers for sale to replace anything we use, we aren't plinking much. I've also got new molds for casting 200gr 30 cal bullets and 69 caliber round ball for my 12 gauge.

I'm enjoying getting into black powder. I inherited my dad's Ruger Old Army .45, and this thing is flipping awesome! I've also got a black powder rifle, but I still need to go through and clean that up before taking it out.

Fortunately, black powder stuff has been really easy to get, so I'm not super concerned at the moment. I do have a good stock of powder, primer caps, lead balls, and assorted other items which should keep me amused for quite some time.

Anyone else shooting black powder?

I'm wanting to get some brass shells for BP 12 gauge loads. I bet that is fun.
