Default Who has?

Who has modded an IDI truck and what have you done? Just curious.

I have done a few of them. I actually have one coming in Tuesday morning for fueling and timing adjustments on the dyno. I will post up the mods and dyno sheet from the last one I did when I get to the shop tomorrow. (if I remember, lol)

I remembered! The truck I did was a 94 IDI with a factory turbo. We installed new stock injectors and lift pump to cure some performance problems. For more performance we turned the fuel adjustment screw 4 flats and increased the timing by 4 degrees (aprox., my pulse adapter had died). I was pretty impressed with results. Stock the truck did 110 hp and 290 torque peak. Modified peak was 210 hp and 409 torque.

That is impressive, I think I will be playing around with my cousins IDI. He has the ATS turbo on it, with some really leaky injectors.

I had a 1985 6.9L with a Hypermax turbo system on it. I advanced the timing and put an injection pump and injectors out of a 7.3L factory turboed model on it. I also put an intercooler off of a 2002 PSD on it. That made a huge difference on EGT's.
