The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default Padre Island National Seashore camping trip

Thought y'all would like some pictures from the most recent camping trip we took just before Christmas. For years I've wanted to go fishing at Padre Island National Seashore (PINS) but never had the equipment to do so.

Here's the map of the entire trip.

...more pictures will have to come later. I'll have to resize them and that is a PITA on the phone.

That's really pretty and it looks like you had the whole place to yourself.

Traveling is something I used to really like doing. I wasn't big on camping or the like; just driving and looking around.

Man, talk about isolation! Not a soul on the beach except for y'all. When I have some time, I'll have to post up some photos from our Ireland trip last year!

Yep, I bet we only saw half a dozen vehicles go by in the time we are camped out. That trip got me in gear to build a plywood sleeper for our utility trailer. It fills the 8x5 trailer and is around 4 ft tall.
