CTS Dash Pod in 2009
Has anybody installed a dash pod in a 2009 or 2010 F150? I ordered one with my CTS and it appears to be too wide to fit between the dash and A pillar on my 2009 Platinum. I think it may be that I received the pod for a 2004 - 2008 truck instead of for my 2009. Pictures would be appreciated.

I don't beleive they make a dash pod for the 2009 + fords yet.
EDIT - I stand corrected. They apparently do make em. They have them listed on their site. No pic/s though. |

DeereGeff,
Can you please take a picture of your dash and post it on here for us? Bill took a pod over to the Ford dealer the other day, and it seemed to fit fine. We're wondering what the issue could be. Thank you!

Corey, Thanks for the response.
Here are a few shots of my dash and the programmer. As you can see my dash area is about 5 1/4" wide and the pod I have is 5 3/4" - 6" wide. I cannot get the pod to slide back flush with the leading edge of the dash and still fit between the A Pillar & the dash. I suspect there may be a difference in the "A" Pillar covers on the different F150's. My truck is a Platinum edition which has the factory Navigation/Sony Sound system in it and as such has tweeters mounted in the A Pillars. Dash opening = 5 1/4" Pod width = ~6" Here is an additional shot of the programmer mounted in the area using the suction cup mount and angled slightly to ease the viewing of the screen. |

Yup, you have the wrong one, Geff. I apologize! I'll send the right one out with a return shipping label for the other one.
