Default TQ question.

I live in Canada and now with the weather change, I have noticed that it takes alot longer for my TQ to lock up, Is this normal?

From a cold start and if it's during the first 10-20 minutes of driving it could be due to the fluid not being warmed up.

Afetr about 2 min of driving I am on the highway. I will hit 90-100 for a min or 2 then she locks up. In the summer well it would happen right away. I have been watching my temps on my gryphon and it seems when the tranny hits around 100 it locks, but not before.

I think your numbers are normal and I'm pretty sure the 90-100 you are throwing in represents kph, not mph (which would be about 55-60 mph), right?

In the winter, even here in Tucson, where I live it regularly goes below freezing in the early mornings and if I take the truck out it takes about a minute for things to warm up enough for the TQ to lock up.

You're probably operating in "open loop" during that period too, for what it's worth.

There are both cold and hot TFT strategies for the converter lockup. This is where the difference is that your feeling and it's completely normal.
