Fuel Pump Control Relay Module

If your truck is driven in wintery conditions where a lot of salt is used. Sooner or later us guys in the 04-08 class will have to get them replaced. Its located above your spare tire on the frame and subseptable to anything your tires kick up especially road salt.
The connectors and case can corrode away leaving you the owner stranded.
There is a new design out on the market that more resistant to corrosion.
But here's the pronblem.
If this goes out on you guys in the next 4-5 months good luck getting one!
The company that manufactured these for Ford went out of business!
There are none left in the parts warehouses or dealerships.
For a temporary fix I suggest finding one out of a junk yard or salvage parts place.
Just thought I'd keep you guys in the loop!

Have a great day!

Default

FYI
If this does happen to you and your dealer says they are on back order ask if they have this oneğ Part number 6C2Z-9D372-A. Same module, with mounting studs, so the part number is different.
The studs can be punched out, then it can be mounted in the same location as the old module.

Have a Great Day!
