Default General Question

I travel quite a bit for a living and my truck sits in airport garages. This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to remove my Gryphon while it is sitting in the parking lot and take it with me so no one steals it??

No problem at all. In fact, you don't even need your Gryphon hooked up to run your custom or canned tune. You really only need it to flash your PCM.

The Gryphon flashes the PCM and then it simply monitors the engine PIDs through the ODBII port.

What I'm saying is disconnect it at home BEFORE you go to the airport and then you don't have to worry about a baggage handler pilfering it (thinking it's a really cool GPS).

i was concerned abt this when thinking of buying a gryphon. go ahead and order one...when u receive the package you'll see how easy it is to remove/re-install the programmer in the pod. Also the programmer is smaller than 1 might think...mine is like the size of my cell phone if not smaller....the newer cs/cts models are slightly bigger to accomodate larger screens.
